LE SUPERBE | SPRING 2025

REGENT WILSHIRE BEVERLY HILLS | 4 AUGUST 2025 |

Ugh! As if! we wouldn’t go to the 30th anniversary party for our fave fashion movie Clueless! We had to come out to the Regent Beverly Wilshire Terrace, where the Rodeo Drive Committee, headed by Kathy Gohari, honored Clueless costumer Mona May, in front of a big crowd of appropriately dressed guys (in chic suits) and gals (in little plaids), all there to pay tribute to Mona and the beloved film – set, of course, in Beverly Hills. Hosted by mayor of Beverly Hills Sharona Nazarian and media specialist Lyn Winter, there was pink champagne, lots of cute colorful shoes (Lyn’s pink Pradas!) – and even an appearance by actress Elisa Donovan (in a chic shorts ensemble), who played fashion obsessed Amber
in the film – she’s still got flaming red hair. And her fashion obsession. Mona May’s tribute to Clueless: a fuschia fedora and big yellow feather boa. As if we wouldn’t notice THAT!
We saw pastels galore – clothes and shoes – with many managers and sales staff from Rodeo Drive’s great stores: Givenchy, Fendi – in attendance. You could tell who was which – how? By their shoes, handbags and sunglasses.
